Jim "Robbie" Robinson started in the automotive business in July of 1970 selling Ford - Lincoln - Mercury cars and trucks for Ken Bitterman Ford on a very small lot in downtown Yankton. In 1980, Robbie and John Ehret purchased the dealership from Ken Bitterman and made some land acquisitions to expand. In 1985 after a fire burned down the showroom, it was rebuilt and now has one of the most modern, well-equipped facilities in the area.
On September 1, 2004, Robbie bought out his partner John Ehret and has made another land acquisition, now occupying almost 1 square block.
As the years passed, we've developed one on one, personal relationships with our customers and have done our best to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. We guess it has paid off because our customers keep coming back and we continue to grow.
